The Ultimate Cake Off

I have become a fan of "The Ultimate Cake Off"

The cakes on last night's Wedding Cake competition were amazing! Congratulations to Norm Davis and Zane Begg, I was able to take a class from them a couple of years ago and learn their teqnique for the Chocolate Curls, they do look amazing on a cake!

Chalice Cake

I was able to take a class from the "Sweet Southern Ladies" ( also known as two sweet sisters) on making chalice cake toppers that can be filled with sugar flowers. This is a unique way to finish the top of your wedding cake, and can be saved for years to come. The chalices can be customized to match the decor of your cake and sugar flowers can be make to match the flowers in your bouquet. If you have been watching the seires "Ultimate Cake Off" they were featured in the episode Automobiles and Fashion, in which they won, Congratulations!

Bridal Faire

I finally finished the display I had hoped to show at the Bridal Faire, the sugar Anemone and Hydrangea add a very classy touch to this cake.
